Baja Pirates has the newest and most modern fishing fleet in La Paz, Mexico. Baja Pirates has over 12 years of experience in owning and operating a fishing fleet. We started in Alaska and from that experience we moved to the warmer waters of La Paz. We have retained the most talented and experienced Captains/Guides with decades of knowledge and skill fishing the Sea of Cortez. Baja Pirates also provides high quality gear. All of the terminal tackle and gear necessary will be provided to each guest. Each guest will have on board for their use a single and double speed Avet reel in combination with a bait and trolling rod made by Shakespeare the Ugly Stik. Shakespeare Spinning rods with Daiwa heavy action spinning reels also available upon request. Starting in 2009 this gear will be available to all of our guests whether you decide to fish in La Paz or Las Arenas. Baja Pirates prides itself on service, we will do everything possible to make sure your vacation is a safe and enjoyable one.

"Las Arenas Panga" (2 passengers) 19-22' Skiff boat,
90 H.P. outboard engine, standard Panga with Bimini top. The Panga boat type is the only boat type available in Las Arenas. Our larger boats like the Triumph 210 and Cruisers can not be launched nor stored safely in Las Arenas. For these reasons the smaller and much..much lighter Panga's are utilized for fishing out of Las Arenas.

"The Trophy" Bay Liner, (4 Passengers)
Mercury V6 250 HP engine, 26 Foot Long,
Live bait well, VHF ship to shore radio, Canvas Shade cover and approved safety gear on board. This vessel has the largest fishing deck area in the fleet.
