I am making a fish report out of a letter from two clients who just returned from a trip with Baja Pirates to show their experiance.

Another great trip arranged by Baja Pirates for our East Cape/La Paz combination trip.  We fished two days with Baja Pirates with Captain Jesus.   A special thank you to Raul for the personal service we received, showing us some of La Paz we hadn't seen on previous trips.  A big ‘Thank You’ to Pedro for all his behind the scenes work at organizing our stay at the Marina Hotel, transportation and for our fishing.  We met some really nice people and enjoyed good conversation especially with Raul and Mike V. the slug bug! 

We caught lots of Dorado for our ice chest while fishing in La Paz.  We then fished two days at Hotel Palmas de Cortez in hopes of catching a bill fish.  Our expectations were more than fulfilled.  Day one we each caught one Striped Marlin estimated at 120 and 160 pounds.  Day two Dona caught a sailfish estimated at 90 pounds and Mike another Striped Marlin, estimated at 190 pounds. We released all the Marlin and Sailfish.  It was a great trip and we are already planning our next trip in the spring 2012.
